Raul Petrisor (born January 20 1976, Romania) is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca.

Born and educated in Romania, Raul combines in a uniquely engineered with spirituality. Mental basic needs, (Human Needs)

As a lecturer father around and talk about some different things, including whether the six mental basic needs. I was asked recently if I could not write about them on the blog, so go ahead:

How can you feel unsatisfied even after you reach your goals and desired results?
I coached a man in his 40s, we can call him Jonathan. He had sat down in the 20s and wrote down how he wanted that life would be, to live in a big nice house, good looking, sexy, intelligent wife and two children, have a well-paid job he enjoyed, a healthy and strong body, financial security and so much money that he can do what he wants. All this has now realized Jonas but he sat with me and thought life was unsatisfactory. He did not know if he would change jobs or change ma'am, yes he loved, although her but it was enough and not ... We started talking about the six mental health needs because I learned from Tony Robbins to see how they did in Jonathan's life,

first Certainty, security
The first need is basbehovet, knowing that you will survive, you have shelter and food in the stomach. When life throws at you things that are not quite easy to handle, it may be that we eat, puts things in their mouths just because then we know that we will survive, we might set out to clean up - to exercise need for control even though we thought would take some time for more important things. We might put us on others to feel that we have control over other people.

You may be familiar with life-change index that goes from 1-100, and where it is closer to 100 if you are going through a divorce, a death in the family or moves and changes throughout the infrastructure. Here it is to poke things in your security, your assurance that you will cope with whatever life throws at you.

Paradoxically, it is so that you get too much security, you know exactly what will happen, everything is the same in whole life, what then? second Insecurity, uncertainty, variety, excitement
We meet when we are exposed to new situations, learn new things, find new relationships. It's fun and exciting. Is it not better that instead of being left rustle as some actually do when security becomes too large, although their core values \u200b\u200bare honesty, reliability and to be true and faithful. Here it is so because the needs are greater than values. Where it not better to find the variation of life with the one you actually love? Many have large insecurity in their lives right now with unemployment and closure of workplaces, it means that stress is increasing and many are feeling really bad. Then it is important to work with its internal security, their inner strength, self-esteem and his self-for-believers (believe in yourself before then).

quality of life is how much uncertainty you can comfortably you can live with .

third Unique, special, needed, confirmed
We all need to feel seen, needed, unique and special, at least by one person. We may stand out through our dress, a högstatusjobb, with which group we belong to that political party, yoga, or maybe we get a disease, and suddenly everyone around us kind and give of their time, then it is easy to feel unique. Many young people and indeed other people will want to become celebrities, they have a strong desire to be seen. The paradox here is that the next looking basic needs are

4th Community and belonging
We want to be part of a team or a family with common goals and visions. Are we unique, such as a pop star when we want to go out and be like anyone. There is a strong need to feel involved in the class, at work, in the family. Compare with when someone is excluded or bullied because it is unique, the only thing the person wants is to be involved in the Community.

There are also two spiritual needs:
5th Growing
Anything that is not growing are dying. We need to develop our skills and knowledge, improving health and working with our personal development in order to feel its best-giving soul food. Through music, dance, read, write, paint, meditate, discuss, attending courses and lectures, etc., etc., we are growing and flourishing.

6th Contribute
The last need is to contribute, to help others, to become part of something bigger, to work actively with the responsibility to expand our advocacy circles (I have previously written about advocacy circle and pressing the unit circle) to create a sense of pride, we want to help charities time or at least money, become a sponsor or work with young people in such sports or otherwise. Maybe become a mentor for someone.
Do you remember Jonathan at the beginning of the article. it was one he fell. He had full control needs 1-5 but nowhere near the 6-ball, he did not return. Nowadays, Jonas mentor to one person a year, he takes greater responsibility for his son's football club and feel completely satisfied by life despite the natural way, go up and down as always.

What is your life like?
If you could think of any activity you do that feels good for you and upgrade it to 10-10 with 1 being lowest and 10 highest satisfaction in each of these 6 basic needs, which figures do you get?
You need three pieces with high scores to continue and have met requirements.
What is the situation with something that is not quite as fun to do? 10-10 on all the needs?
Is it low marks? then you know why you do not To do the activity. If it is something that is good for you to do, after all, how can you change the point of why you do the activity?

Choices or a structured pattern?



How do you approach your daily work? Is it a constant search to find new ways or do you prefer to follow established procedures?
In different contexts, we have different patterns, how are you usually at work? Are you opportunities to do things differently? If you find the new procedures? Or is it that you prefer to follow a particular process? Do you think there is a "right" way of doing things? Would you like to complete what you started at? Do you feel a bit unsure but a routine?

In a job study, Rodger Bailey found that 40% of all the most choice, 40% are procedural and 20% is as much of each.
Ask yourself and others: "How would your typical day be?"

When you then know what category the other and you are a member, can you control with your words, with your language to motivate yourself and others to become more efficient, to sell more or whatever it is you do.

There are many, many Multi Level Marketing Companies (MLM) which tries to get us to sell their particular products, it can be vitamins, beauty products, juices and other products. Many of these products are fantastic and works well. The question remains about how they recruit their employees. They talk about opportunities to make lots of money, about variety and choice. When they got their new vendor says the HOW to go about it but do not understand that you give a man capable designs a guaranteed way to earn a million, so the person will try to improve the road. Compare preferably also with nurses, they often choose the profession for all the opportunities available to work all over the world and so on. Then they must follow a strict procedure, every day, always. Then it can feel hard with motivation.

Thanks to all who mailed and called about the interview in the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet on Saturday. Is not it exciting and fun to be interviewed by journalists, but the reverse is course, that we can not influence how the bias is or even if the content is true. Deciding factors


How does a person in, and how often it needs to change? Will the change in motivation from a perceived difference or similarity?

Similarity

People with similar pattern to that stuff in the selected context is same constantly. They do not want change and can refuse to adapt. They can accept a major change every ten years, but provokes himself to be a change every fifteen to twenty-fifth every year.

similarities with Exceptions

People with this pattern would be things in this context should be mostly the same but accept a smaller change once a year. They wish to develop slowly. They tend to oppose a major development if it is not perceived as a progressive improvement. They need a change every five to seven years.

Difference

These people love lasting and significant change. They oppose the static and stable situations. They need a major change every or every other year and may leave their jobs if they do not get it. They like change that is revolutionary and dramatic.

similarities with Exception and Difference

People with this dual pattern think about change and revolution but is also comfortable with things getting better over time. They like both revolution and evolution. They need a major change every three years.


Rodger Bailey did a study in employment context in which he concluded that the ratio between the various distributed it this way: The similarities 5%, similarity with the exception of 65%, 20% Difference and Similarity with Difference and Exceptions 10% . How would you be able to affect these different groups to maintain motivation? Talks with the same words to one who has behavioral similarities compared to one who has behavior Difference?
